Background
Where I come from
I've been building web applications since 2005, most of that time in .NET and C#. A lot of it was at agencies, Havas Edge and later Spinutech, building and maintaining sites and applications for their clients: custom features, nopCommerce plugins, database work, version migrations, and production deployments. I'm a certified nopCommerce developer, and I've spent years working directly with the people whose systems I'm in.
It's never been just the front end. I've built REST API integrations, designed and maintained SQL Server databases, moved stores across major nopCommerce versions without breaking their custom logic, and run deployments through CI/CD. Earlier on I did HIPAA security work, checking healthcare applications for vulnerabilities, which is a habit of mind I still bring to anything handling real data.
Now I work directly with businesses and organizations instead of through an agency. I also build and run my own software, including Jambalam, a subscription platform on nopCommerce and ASP.NET Core with an AI-powered import feature built on Azure. I use AI tools in my daily work to move faster, and I check everything they produce. If you have a .NET application that needs looking after, or a store on nopCommerce, that's squarely what I do.
How I work
Direct, and on the hard part
No agency layer between you and the person doing the work. I take on the back end, the database, the business logic, the parts that actually solve the problem, not just the page on top. It's where a real application pulls ahead of a template, and it's the work I've done for years.
That includes AI where it earns its place. I've built it into a live product, Jambalam, as a working feature people use.
